Excellent for removing dead hair and reduces the shedding of fur, especially on long thick curly types of fur. The Lawrence slicker brush (SBD) has a broad head so less time required brushing through that tangled fur. Instead it removes loose hair rather than just moving it about, due to the fine wires packed close together with bent ends.
